Dear Students,
The presentations which will start by 6th June, begins at 10.00 am. The students, who will present or want to listen, have to be ready at the location of presentation before it starts. The students who will arrive late or will not arrive, the supervisor must be informed before presentations start. Besides, Students have to notify their supervisors about the session that they want to participate.

As a part of your requirement analysis section in your final report, you must write a requirement analysis document (RAD). The details of the document, and a sample of RAD is attached. Reports without RAD component will not be accepted.

Skills:
1. The goal of this project is to develop applications and services for the ‘networked home’, your project should support activities at home, that is all.
2. RFID is a new technology called 'radio frequency ID' similar to bar-code in super markets but it is a new development. It consists of a tag and a reader.
It is read as the bar code is read. You should read and examine the subject.
3. The aim of this project is to create a 3D facial database for matching and animation. The project will require the use of a 3D scanner, database as well as 3D graphics skills.
4. Display digital photos .The aim of this project is to develop a tool to manage and organise digital photo collections. The tool should include some of the following features:
    a. The tool can be either a local desk top application or on a web-based application also a well designed GUI
    b. Index digital photos with their visual features Organise digital photos into various categories according to their textual descriptions; e.g., Cars, Buildings, etc.
    c. Organise digital photos into various categories according to their visual appearances; e.g. Blue Sky, Green grass, etc.
    d. Search digital photos based on their textual descriptions; e.g., "Find all photos contain cars and buildings"
    e. Search digital photos based on their visual appearance and by visual examples; e.g., "Find all digital photos that look like this one" (content-based image retrieval)
    f. Display search results as thumbnails.
5. A knowledge of XML is necessary
